Nito Kamae

In Modern Kendo there are usually only two kamae that are used. Both are variations on a theme. Longsword held in Jodan, and shortsword in Chudan.

Nito Kamae is with the Longsword in the right hand, and the shortsword in the left.

Footwork can vary from left foot forward, right foot forward to side by side. Each of the feet postures has it merit, and use varies upon situation.
